Responsibilities
Oversee Staff Accountants and assist with day-to-day operations and client management.
Prepare and review complex financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and company standards.
Perform detailed balance sheet and income statement reconciliations to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Analyze and interpret cash flow trends to assess liquidity and support financial planning.
Manage general ledger activity and month-end and year-end close processes.
Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing strategic insights to support decision-making.
Review the filing of tax documents and reports, such as sales tax, 1099s, and other regulatory filings, to ensure accuracy.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to clients and/or management teams to improve financial performance.
Desired Qualifications
A degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.
Certified Public Accountant credential preferred but not required.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
Experience with cash flow analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
