  • The employee must be able to work at a computer for an average of six to eight hours per day when necessary.
  • The employee must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management.
  • The employee must maintain regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
  • The employee must be capable of climbing and descending stairs in an emergency situation.
  • The employee must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly, to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • The employee must have close visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection, and operating or inspecting machines and measurement devices.
  • The employee must comply with company policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • The employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and leadership for tellers and new account representatives.
  • Communicate effectively while working quickly and accurately.
  • Maintain professional and courteous relationships with customers, vendors, the public, and bank staff.
  • Implement, communicate, and manage branch-related operational policies and procedures under the direction of the Branch Manager.
  • Represent the bank professionally while maintaining confidentiality, attendance, punctuality, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Provide internal and external customer service while demonstrating courtesy and respect.
  • Keep management informed of significant issues, problems, and complaints.
  • Supervise tellers and new account representatives.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints through verbal and written communication.
  • Monitor hourly employees' time, schedules, and time sheets.
  • Complete annual performance evaluations for each branch staff member.
  • Conduct monthly certifications.
  • Complete month-end reporting, including balancing teller differences, closed accounts, manager's reports, and security reports.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly staff meetings.
  • Perform teller functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, stop payments, cashier's checks, money orders, and account holds.
  • Perform or assist with personal banking functions, including opening checking, savings, business, individual retirement account, certificate of deposit, and health savings account products; maintaining accounts; troubleshooting online banking accounts; ordering checks and debit cards; and processing bankcard disputes.
  • Refer customers and prospects to bank services and explain account types and services.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in achieving annual growth objectives and completing other assigned projects and responsibilities.
  • Participate in projects and assignments, including obtaining and researching information from various sources.
  • Originate consumer loans when authorized, maintain current training, and follow loan compliance standards.
  • Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frames.
  • Work at other Foothills Bank branches when required due to staffing shortages.
  • Participate in community service and bank-sponsored activities.
  • Attend and participate in required meetings.
  • Keep the work area tidy.
  • Perform additional duties as requested or assigned.
