Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience is required.
  • Successful completion of Gross Anatomy I and II is required.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of human anatomy are required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide grading support for undergraduate classes, develop rubrics for formative and summative assessments, examine and measure student work, provide quantitative and qualitative feedback to students, and perform data entry and statistical analysis of results.
  • Help teachers prepare lessons by collecting materials and setting up equipment, and review lessons or lectures with students individually or in small groups.
  • Supervise students in class, between classes, and during examinations.
  • Assist with tracking attendance, grading assignments, and calculating grades.
  • Provide extra help to students who need accommodations or are struggling with concepts, including students with disabilities or English as a second language students.
  • Attend faculty meetings and parent conferences as needed.
  • Collaborate with the teacher to identify student issues and recommend solutions.
  • Observe state, school, and class rules and regulations.
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and safeguard University assets.
  • Assist in open labs and dissection sessions for Gross Anatomy courses.
  • Guide and support students during dissection activities, ensure safety protocols are followed, and facilitate learning in the laboratory setting.
  • Collaborate with course instructors to prepare materials, set up laboratory equipment, and organize instructional resources.
  • Assist with grading assignments, conduct review sessions, and provide supplemental instruction as needed.
