Big Bear Mountain Resort

View

Big Bear Mountain Resort combines Snow Summit and Bear Mountain into one package, letting guests use a single lift ticket to access two distinct winter venues just two miles apart, connected by a free inter-resort shuttle. The resort totals 438 developed acres, 26 lifts (including 4 high-speed detachable quads) and more than 55 runs. Snow Summit offers a traditional alpine experience with mostly intermediate terrain, while Bear Mountain focuses on a youth-oriented scene built around innovative terrain parks. In summer, the property features the Bear Mountain Golf Course and the Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair, which provides access to a lift-served bike park, extensive cross-country trails, hiking, and scenic BBQ. The key value proposition is variety and scale: two personalities in one pass, with terrain options and year-round activities, designed to attract diverse skiers and riders and maximize enjoyment for day visitors and season pass holders alike.
