OneMagnify, an AI-native B2B marketing services company, has appointed Elan Elango as chief technology officer. Elango brings over 20 years of experience building large-scale cloud, data, and AI platforms. He joins from Zeta Global, where he served as VP of engineering and led the development of Athena, Zeta's AI platform. He previously held platform engineering roles at Auth0 and Price.com. In his new role, Elango will oversee engineering, platform architecture, data infrastructure, and AI. His mandate includes turning OneMagnify's proprietary platform into a competitive advantage for clients. The Detroit-based company is backed by private equity firm Crestview Partners.
Revenue doesn't disappear overnight: catching problems before customers do. September 18, 2026 Home > blog > revenue doesn't disappear overnight: catching problems before customers do. At Opticon 2026 in New York, Steve Farr (Chief Digital Officer) and I took the stage to share a project OneMagnify is genuinely proud of: how OneMagnify built an AI-powered early-warning system on Optimizely Opal for a wholesale B2B client - turning a mountain of disconnected data into something leadership could actually act on. The Question That Started It All "How many customer problems are we discovering because the customer called us first?" That's the question its client brought to OneMagnify. Like a lot of B2B distributors, their business depends on easy ordering and reliable, on-time delivery. When those expectations slip, cancellations and returns follow. And too often, the team was hearing about a problem from the customer instead of catching it first. It's a familiar story: a small, focused team with real investments in ERP, PIM, CMS, and CRM platforms, sitting on a mountain of data - but with no way to connect it. The systems were disconnected, hard to trust, and impossible to analyze quickly. A prior attempt at a BI and data visualization initiative hadn't earned leadership's confidence, and margin pressure meant there wasn't headroom to hire a team of analysts to bridge the gap. The Solution: An Intelligence Layer, Not a Rip-and-Replace OneMagnify built a secure, scalable AI-enabled intelligence layer that integrates Optimizely Opal with the client's ERP, CMS, and data - without replacing any of their existing systems. It has four parts: * Trusted Data Foundation - unifying ERP data with governance and validation for accuracy and consistency * Secure Integration Middleware - extracting only high-value, targeted data points, avoiding system disruption * AI Agents & Orchestration (Opal) - purpose-built agents for commerce analytics, content intelligence, SEO insights, customer risk alerts, and marketing reports * Executive Insight Experience - a single AI workspace where leadership can ask questions and get answers instantly What OneMagnify Learned Along the Way Not everything went in a straight line, and that was some of the most useful material in the session. Its initial commerce use cases tried to process large volumes of ERP data spanning months to a full year. In practice, Opal has real limits on how much data it can ingest and process effectively for AI-generated responses - OneMagnify found ourselves progressively narrowing the window down to just a few days, which wasn't enough for meaningful commerce analytics. Working with Optimizely's product team, OneMagnify landed on a better design: pull fewer, high-value data points instead of full ERP records, and extend the timeframe to months instead of days. That shift unlocked business-relevant insights without hitting platform constraints - and freed OneMagnify to expand into CMS-based use cases in parallel, leveraging Optimizely's existing agent framework. Live, on Production Data Rather than just talk about it, OneMagnify demoed it - live, with real production data - across five commerce use cases: * Inventory & fulfillment risk indicators * Returns vs. avoidable cancellation modeling * Order-to-invoice failure analysis * Order deep-dive & customer pattern intelligence * Single customer intelligence & risk analytics The Results * 25% more proactive interventions * 12% reduction in manual effort as adoption scaled * 2% of at-risk revenue protected * 40% reduction in manual audit time Beyond the numbers, this set the client up with a scalable, future-ready AI architecture - one that can expand into new dashboards, new agents, and new data sources as the business grows. The Bigger Point The title wasn't just a hook. Cuts to content, staffing, or process rarely show up in revenue right away - the impact can take six to eighteen months to surface, by which point the decision that caused it is long forgotten. The same is true in reverse: an intelligence layer like this doesn't pay off in a single quarter. It pays off by catching the problem before the customer has to call and tell you about it. Thanks to everyone who joined OneMagnify in the room at Opticon - great crowd, great questions, and a fun one to demo live.

May 1, 2026 Ravi Karumuru OneMagnify, a global provider of advanced analytics and AI-driven B2B marketing services backed by Crestview Partners, has appointed Ravi Karumuru as chief executive officer, expanding his role from president as the company sharpens its focus on AI-native growth and platform-led marketing solutions. Karumuru has also joined OneMagnify's board of directors as part of the leadership transition. Mark Petroff, who has led the company for more than two decades, will move into the role of chairman of the board, where he will continue to support long-term strategy and governance continuity. The leadership change marks a strategic inflection point for the organization as it looks to scale its data, analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities for enterprise clients. Karumuru joined OneMagnify as president in November 2025 and has since worked closely with the leadership team to refine the company's operating model. His appointment signals an increased emphasis on integrating strategy, data, AI and execution into a more unified platform offering for B2B customers. "OneMagnify has built a strong and differentiated foundation," Karumuru said. "The opportunity now is to take that further - sharpen our focus, scale our platform, and lead with greater clarity in how we help clients grow." Before joining OneMagnify, Karumuru held senior roles across digital transformation and marketing services, including positions at Wipro, where he served as general manager and head of digital transformation for the Americas, as well as leadership roles at Epsilon, Ansira and Omnicom. The company said the next phase of growth will center on expanding its AI-native capabilities and strengthening its platform-enabled service model, with the goal of helping enterprise clients improve measurable business outcomes. Inside Ford's ai-driven approach to scaling dealer analysis. Published March 27, 2026 FordDirect used AI agents in Domo to automate dealer analysis, cut turnaround time, and deliver insights that helped win back at-risk dealerships. How do you turn a dealer-level analysis process into a scalable, AI-powered workflow? During a session at the Domopalooza conference in Salt Lake City in late March of 2026, representatives from FordDirect and OneMagnify laid out how they built a workflow in Domo using an AI agent task to transform a previously manual process into an automated, end-to-end workflow for dealer re-engagement. FordDirect is a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and its Ford and Lincoln dealers. One of its main tools is the AdVantage digital ad program, designed to drive traffic and sales and improve marketing return on investment for dealers. There are more than 3,000 Ford and Lincoln dealers in the US, many of whom are part of AdVantage... but far from all. An AI agent was designed to address dealerships that had ceased membership in AdVantage, as well as those deemed at risk of discontinuing the service. "We created an AI agent to deliver dealer performance insight that would accelerate AdVantage growth," said Brendan Sullivan, director of FordDirect Advertising Analytics. "The goal was to equip our sales team with data and narrative examples they could use for dealer retention and win-back." Winning back lost dealers with data-driven insights. In 2025, 97 at-risk or terminated dealers were identified. In the past, anyone wishing to analyze these dealers faced a data integration challenge to find how they performed before and after leaving AdVantage. They had to blend AdVantage and non-AdVantage data across varied dealer timelines, metrics, and formats. They also had to factor in external influences that disrupt markets, such as seasonality, tariffs, and more. The first step was to achieve a firm understanding of the existing manual process, then to build a strong data foundation and define precisely and only what the agent was to accomplish. Both Databricks and Domo were reviewed as candidate platforms. Domo won due to the strength of its data foundation and AI governance capabilities, added Sullivan. Stephanie Butterbrodt, a business intelligence consultant at OneMagnify, assisted FordDirect with the project. The agent was set up to analyze and rank multiple performance scenarios using flexible logic that could evolve as priorities change. "The agent used a governed, repeatable process for multi-dealer analysis that generated a clear narrative text and visual outputs that could go to the sales teams for use in potential dealer conversions," said Butterbrodt. "It was based on a standardized way to compare the last three months before leaving AdVantage to the three months after." Measuring impact: how AI turned insights into results. Sales could use the agent to generate data on one dealer or all of them. Sales were given before and after performance stories, which they could use to show the value of AdVantage. They could trust the findings as the data was cleaned prior to analysis and guardrails were put in place to prevent errors or hallucination. For example, AI was only to access and use the data provided and nothing more. A human-in-the-loop was added to verify that the AI agent's output matched real-world conditions. "AdVantage helped drive 34% more leads, 20% more vehicle sales, and an 18% improvement in sales effectiveness at one Ford dealership," said Butterbrodt. "When shown this information, that deal rejoined the program." Sullivan added that the agent delivered 24 opportunity stories. Ten of these returned to the program. In addition, eliminating the manual workflow led to a 75% reduction in hours spent on creating dealer data and a 90% reduction in turnaround time from analysis to story generation." What FordDirect and OneMagnify built isn't just a faster reporting pipeline, but a scalable decision engine - one that turns fragmented data into clear, persuasive stories. By combining governed data, focused AI, and human oversight, they proved the real value of AI isn't just automation, but action. When insights arrive as ready-to-use narratives, teams can move faster... and in dealer engagement, speed is a decisive advantage.
