Requirements
- Be a board-certified or board-eligible Medical Oncologist.
- Be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Illinois.
- Hold Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and Illinois authorization to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Meet all qualifications to participate in OSF programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
- Have an interest in subspecialized oncology and involvement in clinical trials.
Responsibilities
- Develop a subspecialized practice in an area of interest.
- Participate in clinical trials.
- Collaborate with colleagues during the early stages of program development.
- Help establish a future oncology program and train the next generation of oncologists.
