About the job
- An active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice is required.
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner board certification is required.
- Active Drug Enforcement Administration registration is required.
- Experience providing primary care to patients ages 2 and older is required.
- Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act requirements and commitment to patient confidentiality are required.
- Ability to successfully complete required credentialing is required.
- Commitment to preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education is required.
- Provide comprehensive primary care through in-person and virtual visits, as clinically appropriate.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions for patients ages 2 and older.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications and therapies.
- Promote preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management through patient education.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other clinicians to support coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to applicable medical, regulatory, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act requirements.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic environment focused on quality care and patient outcomes.
- Two or more years of primary care experience is preferred.
