This is an exciting opportunity to join Octopus Energy ECO, as we ramp up our delivery of energy efficient measures. As part of this, we are expanding our Partnership team to ensure continued success.
Within this role, you’ll work closely with selected partners to help delivery Octopus Energy ECO’s targets and contract volumes.
You will learn all about the industry surrounding energy efficiency measures and how we help improve the energy efficiency of homes across the UK.

We’re looking for candidates specifically in the Midlands area, due the travel requirements of this role. We can be flexible on this, but this role will need to cover Central England.
What you’ll do
- Work as part of the Partnerships team who manage a portfolio of Partners that range from installers to managing agents – all a tailored approach to ensure needs are met.
- Set delivery expectations in line with signed contracts and commercial direction. Managing the consistent flow of delivery, and its quality.
- Be the eyes and ears of ECO – gaining business intelligence from and sharing with partners and the internal team to make sure we are at the forefront of the industry.
- Audit partners to identify risk and make sure delivery is future proofed.
- Learn about new technologies and get on the job training to give you the skills to assist partners and internal teams on the ever-changing ECO landscape.
- Develop ECO knowledge and then apply it to help Partners overcome obstacles faced working in a government funded industry.
- Problem Solve - nothing is insurmountable - you’ll anticipate problems and find solutions – sense checking them with your team and manager.
- Occasionally visit partners across the country for face-to-face meetings.
What you’ll need
- Relevant experience in a customer or ideally B2B facing role.
- A laser customer focus - communication is key.
- A proactive, ‘can do’ attitude – this role works in a bit of ambiguity and is mostly partner facing – so a positive, friendly outlook goes a long way
- A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
- Well versed with Microsoft, G-suite & general computer literacy
- An interest in sustainability and working to alleviate fuel poverty is a massive plus.
- Full clean driving licence and own car
