  • Completed two years’ of degree-level coursework in object-oriented programming
  • Hands-on experience and demonstrated interest in backend technologies (Java) and automated testing (Robot)
  • Enthusiasm to continue development in back end object-oriented coding
  • Demonstrated communication skills, including proactive communication on progress and blockers on project work
Responsibilities
  • Migrate clients from a python to java microservice based feature
  • Support the ingestion of data into snowflake
  • Build internal dashboards to help the team and stakeholders understand the feature
  • Resolve issues and add necessary functionality
  • Add automated testing coverage
  • Suggest improvements as you see them
  • Collaborate with the team 1:1 and in group meetings
  • Other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with building code structures that incorporate robust user interface design
  • Hands-on experience with Java Spring framework
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a development group environment
