Regions Private Wealth Management earns 2026 Datos Impact Award for Best Innovation in Financial Planning.

Regions Private Wealth Management earns 2026 Datos Impact Award for Best Innovation in Financial Planning. Recognition highlights Regions' planning-first approach and use of technology to help advisors deliver more personalized, comprehensive financial guidance. By Jennifer Elmore | October 22, 2026 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Oct. 22, 2026 - Regions Bank on Thursday announced Regions Private Wealth Management has received the 2026 Datos Impact Award for Best Innovation in Financial Planning, recognizing the company's continued advancement of a planning-first approach that combines experienced financial guidance with technology to deliver clients a more connected, personalized and comprehensive experience. What is the Datos Impact Award? Datos Insights is a research and advisory firm working with the banking, insurance and securities industries. The Datos Impact Awards recognize financial institutions, insurers and solution providers for innovation and demonstrated business impact across the financial services industry. Datos selected Regions Private Wealth Management for an approach that places comprehensive wealth planning at the center of the client relationship while leveraging technology to make planning information more accessible within advisors' day-to-day workflows. "A wealth plan is much more than a document. It's a roadmap that helps clients understand where they are, where they want to go and the choices that can help them get there," said Leslie Carter-Prall, head of Regions Private Wealth Management. "Clients' financial lives are increasingly complex, and they are looking for advice that considers the complete picture, from retirement and investments to business succession, wealth transfer, banking and philanthropy. This recognition from Datos Insights reflects the work our teams are doing to combine personal advice, specialized experience and technology to help clients make important decisions with greater clarity and focus." A wealth plan is much more than a document. It's a roadmap that helps clients understand where they are, where they want to go and the choices that can help them get there."Leslie Carter-Prall, head of Regions Private Wealth Management Why wealth planning matters: Wealth planning helps individuals and families connect financial decisions across different stages of life and evaluate those decisions in the context of their long-term goals. For high-net-worth individuals and families, financial decisions increasingly involve much more than investment management. They also include the following: * Retirement readiness * Tax considerations * Business succession * Charitable giving * Wealth transfer * Multigenerational planning These areas intersect in ways that require a comprehensive view of a client's financial life. Regions Bank's planning-first model brings those considerations together to help clients see a more complete financial picture and make informed decisions as their needs evolve. "Wealth planning has been a cornerstone of how we build client relationships at Regions Bank," said Bryan Koepp, Regions Wealth Executive. "Technology is helping us build on that foundation by providing new tools our advisors can access for more efficient, detailed planning information and a more connected view of a client's financial picture. That means our advisors can spend more time on what matters most: helping clients confidently navigate important financial decisions." Wealth planning has been a cornerstone of how Doing More Today build client relationships at Regions Bank."Bryan Koepp, Regions Wealth Executive How technology is enhancing wealth planning at Regions: Over the past year, Regions has continued investing in technology that gives Wealth Management teams more connected access to financial planning information and helps them deliver timely, detailed guidance to clients. These capabilities help advisors bring together more elements of a client's financial picture, evaluate potential scenarios and provide personalized guidance with greater efficiency and consistency. The Datos Impact Award reflects Regions' broader commitment to combining innovative technology with personalized advice. By providing richer information and streamlining processes, technology can give advisors more time and insight to focus on each client's individual goals. "It's hard to innovate on something you've done well for decades, yet Regions Wealth Management found a way to scale its wealth planning capabilities," said Wally Okby, Strategic Advisor, Wealth Management at Datos Insights. "Pairing a deep planning culture with modern integration is what separates firms that talk about planning-led advice from firms that actually deliver it." It's hard to innovate on something you've done well for decades, yet Regions Wealth Management found a way to scale its wealth planning capabilities."Wally Okby, Strategic Advisor, Wealth Management at Datos Insights About Regions Financial Corporation Regions Financial Corporation (NYSE:RF), with $163 billion in assets, is a member of the S&P 500 Index and is one of the nation's largest full-service providers of consumer and commercial banking, wealth management, and mortgage products and services. Regions' Hurricane Isaias relief offers goodwill, but revenue stuck at $1.91B tests the investment case

Regions Bank has launched disaster-recovery financial services for customers hit by Hurricane Isaias in the Florida Panhandle and South Alabama. The package includes loan assistance, payment relief, fee waivers, interest rate discounts, and mortgage disaster-relief programmes. Analysts see the move as good for the bank's brand and customer relationships, but limited in its near-term effect on revenue. Regions Financial reported a flat quarter at $1.91 billion in revenue, and fee income remains a risk. The bank also declared quarterly cash dividends on common and preferred stock. Simply Wall St's narrative projects revenue of $8.9 billion and earnings of $2.4 billion by 2029, up from $2.1 billion today. It puts fair value at $32.03 per share, 19% above the current price.
