Pogo raises $32M for AI research platform connecting brands with purchase-verified buyers

Pogo has launched an AI research platform connecting brands with purchase-verified buyers and announced $32 million in total funding from investors including Josh Buckley, Mantis, 20VC and Village Global. Founded in 2020, Pogo operates a consumer app with three million opted-in US users, providing visibility into one in every 150 US shopping trips across $470 billion in transaction value. The platform uses AI to conduct thousands of moderated video interviews simultaneously with verified buyers, delivering insights within hours. The company addresses fraud issues in traditional consumer research by verifying respondents through observed transaction data at SKU level. Brands can target specific audiences, such as recent product purchasers or customers who switched to competitors. Users earn money by sharing transaction data, receipts, app usage and location information. Newsweek has rated Pogo the top US loyalty app for two consecutive years.
