About the company

RiverWoods operates a nonprofit system of Continuing Care Retirement Communities in New Hampshire, offering a continuum of care from independent living to nursing care on a single campus. It runs three campuses—RiverWoods Exeter, RiverWoods Manchester, and RiverWoods Durham—with oversight from the RiverWoods Group, which coordinates finances and administration across the network. Residents pay a one-time entrance fee plus monthly fees, and profits are reinvested back into the communities to improve services, facilities, and staff development. The goal is to provide high-quality, accessible senior living with on-site healthcare and a strong sense of community, supported by a nonprofit model and a coordinated regional network.
