It runs a 600,000-square-foot Lahore facility equipped with European machinery and robotics for coating and polishing, supporting mass production and in-house design development. Its goal is to provide comprehensive interior and fit-out solutions across Pakistan while selectively expanding into international markets.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Interwood showcased at IAPEX Karachi Expo Center in 2026, signaling active demand generation.
  • CEO Omar Farooq spoke at UMT on April 22, 2026, reinforcing talent and brand visibility.
  • HumEnglish reported February 2026 automation lifting output to 100 chairs daily and enabling exports.

What critics are saying

  • Pakistan's weak construction cycle directly hits Interwood's residential and corporate order book.
  • Automated production requires heavy capital; margin pressure from cheap imports can squeeze 2026 returns.
  • If exports stall after Amtrend, domestic concentration leaves growth vulnerable to a Pakistan slowdown.

What makes Interwood Mobel unique

  • Lahore's 600,000-square-foot plant uses 300-plus European machines and robotic automation.
  • Interwood combines premium retail, dealer reach, and institutional contracts across Pakistan.
  • Its 1974 legacy and national showrooms create brand trust versus unorganized rivals.
