Requirements
The candidate must be able to complete a criminal background report.
The candidate must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
The candidate must be able to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for sometimes long periods of time.
The candidate must hold an RMA license.
Responsibilities
Provide physical care and emotional support to clients who may be unable to care for themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.
Pass and administer medications.
Provide resident care in the assisted living facility.
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting an individual.
Desired Qualifications
A high school diploma is preferred.
Whispering Pines Living is looking for a Registered Medication Aide to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability. Registered Medication Aide is responsible for Passing Medication.
The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.
