Requirements
  • An active Secret Clearance is required, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience working in quality control/quality assurance roles within major industrial complexes or large-scale construction projects is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience serving specifically as a quality control/quality assurance lead is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of operations and maintenance operations and building systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, is required.
  • Experience working within a Reliability Centered Maintenance program is required.
  • Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods is required.
  • The candidate must be able to develop and implement quality control/quality assurance processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • The candidate must have communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience supervising a workforce responsible for operations, maintenance, and repair of commercial building infrastructure systems is required.
  • The candidate must conduct preventive maintenance activities and minor repairs from ladders or elevated platforms.
  • The candidate must walk, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in uncomfortable positions.
  • The candidate must lift, carry, and set up tools, equipment, and parts weighing up to and occasionally over fifty (50) pounds.
  • The candidate must be able to work in indoor or outdoor environments with frequent exposure to excessive noise, dirt, dust, and grease.
  • The candidate must be able to perform duties under adverse weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat.
  • The candidate must be able to work alternate shift schedules, including weekends and holidays, when necessary to meet customer mission requirements.
  • The candidate must perform scheduled on-call duties and report to work within one hour of notification.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • The candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable reference and background check results.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of the quality control/quality assurance program for operations and maintenance operations.
  • Prepare and maintain a detailed method statement describing how the quality control/quality assurance department will be structured, staffed, and managed.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and evaluations of building systems, maintenance activities, and operational processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Reliability Centered Maintenance principles and apply non-destructive testing methods as required.
  • Identify deficiencies, track corrective actions, and verify their resolution.
  • Collaborate with site leadership, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain documentation, reports, and quality records in accordance with contract and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control/quality assurance procedures and best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reliability.
