About the job

Requirements
  • Ability to embed with client firms and build trust with structural, civil, and MEP engineers.
  • Ability to interpret conflicting user feedback and identify what to build.
  • Ability to own work end-to-end across discovery, building, deployment, production debugging, and iteration.
  • Ability to build bespoke solutions quickly and adapt to deployment needs.
  • Ability to collaborate with the CTO on technical direction, engineering culture, and product decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Embed on-site with engineers at client firms, observe their work, build trust, and identify high-leverage problems.
  • Distill conflicting user feedback into a clear point of view about what to build.
  • Own outcomes end-to-end, including discovery, building, deployment, production debugging, and live iteration with users.
  • Ship bespoke solutions when deployments require them, then feed lessons into a platform that can scale across firms.
  • Build integrations to legacy Windows-native AEC software, write scrapers, or set up off-the-shelf tools to test ideas before building production solutions.
  • Collaborate directly with the CTO on technical direction, engineering culture, and future product development.

About the company

Eagle provides AI-powered and custom software tools that automate civil and building engineering workflows, removing manual paperwork so engineers can focus on design of roads, bridges, and housing. Instead of generic chatbots, Eagle works with engineering firms to learn their specific processes and ships tools embedded into firm operations that fit how teams work. The product suite includes applications such as traffic-study automation (determining peak hours, level of service, and generating stamped appendix reports), thermal load calculations integrated from architectural models into firm Excel templates, and Revit annotation placement for fixtures and rooms. This differentiates Eagle by delivering tightly integrated, firm-specific solutions with services that support adoption and operations, not just software. The goal is to raise productivity for PE and AEC workflows by streamlining project data, analysis, and reporting through customized automation.”},

What believers are saying

  • Eagle's case studies claim 207-to-31-hour traffic studies and 300-to-59-hour thermal calculations.
  • The September 20, 2026 site lists open NYC roles, signaling active expansion.
  • Lightspeed's June 24, 2026 seed validates demand for AI tooling in engineering services.

What critics are saying

  • As of September 2026, Eagle discloses no named acquisitions, revenue, or headcount.
  • Roll-up execution demands integrating legacy AEC software, licensed staff, and bespoke workflows quickly.
  • Bad traffic-study or load-calculation output creates PE liability, client churn, and litigation.

What makes Eagle unique

  • June 24, 2026 Lightspeed backed Eagle's engineer-buyout thesis, not generic horizontal AI.
  • Eagle embeds forward-deployed engineers inside civil, structural, and MEP firms, matching each firm's workflows.
  • Its products automate stamped PE tasks: traffic studies, thermal loads, and Revit annotations.
