Able to read and have a basic understanding of electrical drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
Provide coordination support in multiple areas while partnering with construction project management and field staff.
Assist with managing project documentation, including submittals, requests for information, and project meeting minutes.
Assist with supervising and directing project activities as assigned by the Project Manager, including planning and coordinating, resolving problem areas, and maintaining company and project policies, procedures, and standards.
Maintain change-order, submittal, and document-control logs in Viewpoint.
Assist the Project Manager and Project Executive with subcontractor interactions to obtain the correct documentation and drawings for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
Create Job Information Sheets and establish job files under the direction of the Project Manager or Project Executive.
Assume temporary total project supervision responsibilities in the Project Manager's absence.
Assist with establishing workflow breakdowns in conjunction with Field Supervisors and Project Managers.
Help ensure project billings are accurate and submitted monthly and on time in accordance with contract documents.
Assist in writing and submitting quality requests for information.
Assist the Project Manager in ensuring timely payment to subcontractors and vendors.
Review and update construction schedule status as requested by the Project Manager or Project Executive.
Assist the Project Management team with setting up project budgets in Viewpoint in conjunction with the Field Supervisor.
Work with the Payroll department to ensure accurate payroll information is submitted.
The position of Assistant Project Manager for our National Tech Systems team will be traveling to support several jobsites across the US. This person can be based in areas outside of the Regional corporate office. This position is responsible for providing a high level of coordination support in a variety of areas, partnering with construction project management and field staff.
Assist with managing all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs and project meeting minutes.
Assist with supervision and directing project activities as assigned by the PM including planning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained, etc.
Assist with the maintenance of all change order, submittal and document control logs within Viewpoint.
Assist PM and PX with interactions with subcontractors to make certain that we have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.

Salary range for this position is $80,000-$140,000 annually.
Opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus.
