Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
The role requires standing for extended periods; walking; pushing; lifting up to 25 pounds; bending and reaching; and stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
The role requires a schedule that may include holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide quality barista services in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.
Take coffee, beverage, and food orders; enter orders into the point-of-sale system; collect payment; and prepare orders.
Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools and cleaning all equipment and areas.
Ensure appliances are turned on and off at the appropriate times.
Stock and maintain work areas.
Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day.
Obtain the change required for the expected business level; count the bank at the end of the shift; complete designated cashier reports; resolve discrepancies; drop off receipts; and secure the bank.
Abide by all state, federal, and corporate requirements pertaining to food and alcoholic beverages.
Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow Material Safety Data Sheet and Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards.
Perform other duties as requested by management.

Desired Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Barista experience is a plus.

Your Focus
