What believers are saying

  • SEEL launched a 2024 grant-writing workshop, widening non-utility revenue opportunities.
  • 2026 media coverage on Fox 2 Detroit strengthens recruiting and local brand trust.
  • Ameren Illinois and DTE relationships support cross-sell into clean-energy workforce programs.

What critics are saying

  • SEEL's revenue depends on utility program renewals; contract loss hits immediately by 2026.
  • Scaling workforce and grant-writing offerings dilutes focus from core implementation margins.
  • If Detroit-based leadership cannot win new utility work, SEEL becomes a regional services vendor.

What makes Seel unique

  • Detroit-based SEEL is MBE and SDVOB certified, with eight-state utility reach.
  • SEEL combines energy audits, weatherization, call centers, rebates, and workforce development.
  • Its 2025 Impact Award from MEEA signals credible execution in utility program delivery.
