Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects in the consumer products or small appliance industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project.
  • Ability to travel as needed (domestic and international), 5-10%.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful delivery of projects that drive strategic direction and goals; act as the cross-functional leader of the program team and drive accountability to ensure proper execution of development objectives.
  • Utilize risk management techniques to identify known issues, potential parallel paths, and unknown risks, guiding the team to mitigate time-to-market impact and communicate action plans to executive leadership.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional global team and communicate program schedule and progress to teams.
  • Take a lead role in scheduling and managing the development of new products.
  • Use New Product Development process to drive program progress.
  • Drive and maintain multiple program schedules and budgets up to date and report status of projects regularly.
  • Responsible for technical feasibility assessment, program scoping, and program budget and schedule.
  • Manage others to ensure product documentation and specifications are available to support timely procurement.
  • Provide support to technical teams as needed.
  • Maintain readily accessible Project Files.
  • Lead and organize program reviews in all phases and solve problems during execution.
  • Ensure product documentation and specifications are available during development and post-launch.
  • Work with Project Engineers and contract manufacturers to provide technical solutions and conduct design reviews as needed.
  • Foster mutually beneficial relationships with domestic and international suppliers through a collaborative and co-development approach.
