Requirements
  • Five years of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition and/or Siebel Analytics development experience.
  • Five years of Informatica development experience.
  • Previous experience implementing Oracle/Siebel customer relationship management solutions, including Sales Force Automation, Call Center, and Marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of OBIEE server infrastructure and network architecture.
  • Ability to provide quality assurance checkpoints related to business intelligence development.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience managing multiple pre-production environments, including server maintenance, OBIEE architecture, network infrastructure, and mobile tablet computing platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and create working prototypes.
  • Ability to lead and provide technical guidance to global delivery team members.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and business representatives to translate business and integration requirements into scalable designs and solutions.
  • Design, develop, and test technical solutions based on predefined requirements, including data models, master data management, dashboards, repository files, reports, extract-transform-load jobs, server setup, and proof-of-concepts on technology platforms other than OBIEE.
  • Enhance performance in the business intelligence environment by tuning code, reviewing tables, and applying indexes where needed.
  • Continuously improve documentation, version control, testing, and migration standards.
  • Apply the technical development lifecycle from technical design and unit testing through user testing and production migration, while enforcing standards and controls and conducting quality assurance before migration to production.
  • Act as the single point of contact for technical matters during the Design, Build, and Deploy phases where required.
  • Coordinate technical subteams, including offshore, architecture, network, and service groups, to ensure planned activities are completed on time and to the required quality.
  • Assist with planning design, build, migration, and deployment activities and work with the project manager to track and regularly update progress.
  • Technically assess change requests and requirements, identifying and fully documenting dependencies, impacts, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure deliverables conform to company technical standards and policies.
  • Ensure documentation conforms to program standards.
  • Identify and report risks and issues to the project manager and assist with their mitigation and resolution.
  • Ensure requirements are fully traceable from design through build.
  • Ensure a configuration baseline is established and documented between each release.
  • Ensure deployment activities are transitioned to the service team with appropriate approved documentation before production release.
  • Attend project delivery team meetings.
