OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
ZeroFox seeks a Intelligence Analyst who will play a crucial role in protecting organizations from cyber threats emanating from criminal and hacker ecosystems. Your responsibilities will include leading in-depth investigations, producing detailed reports, engaging with Chinese and English-speaking threat actors, and conveying your findings to customers in a clear and professional manner. Proficiency in the Chinese language combined with your technical tradecraft acumen will be central in navigating complex underground environments to uncover insights that others might miss. If you are deeply passionate about cyber security and can navigate the deep and dark web, this role could be an excellent match for you. Your unique combination of language skills, tradecraft, and leadership abilities will drive the evolution of cyber intelligence at ZeroFox.
Role and responsibilities
- Lead and conduct deep and dark web investigations to identify and analyze cyber threats and fraud operations, with a focus on Chinese-language underground environments
- Utilize your proficiency in Chinese to navigate and interpret complex information in these specific areas
- Profile and interact with cyber threat actors naturally, exercising the highest standard of operational security
- Use your demonstrated experience to identify, engage, and understand the tactics, techniques, and procedures of diverse cyber adversaries, particularly those operating in Chinese-language circles
- Produce detailed intelligence reports and briefings on cyber threat actors, groups, and cyber-attack campaigns in support of customer-specific requests
- Embrace innovative tools and techniques to streamline workflows, enabling your team to focus on delivering high-quality intelligence analysis
Required qualifications and skills
- Written and spoken proficiency in Chinese Mandarin
- Knowledge and understanding of the cybercriminal ecosystem
- Bachelor’s degree in cyber security or 5+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence
Desired qualifications and skills
- Proven track record of successful intelligence analysis and threat identification
- Ability to manage and execute short and long-term projects independently
- Relevant certifications GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, etc.), CEH, CISSP, Security+
