  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
  • At least one year of medical office or clinical experience is preferred.
  • Dermatology experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities
  • Room patients and prepare them for examination.
  • Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints.
  • Assist physicians and providers with examinations and procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as injections, wound care, suture removal, and specimen handling as permitted by the role and training.
  • Assist with biopsies, surgeries, and dermatologic procedures.
  • Provide patient education and relay provider instructions.
  • Process prescriptions, prior authorizations, and refill requests.
  • Support scheduling, charting, and electronic medical records documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of examination rooms.
  • Provide customer service to patients and team members.
Desired Qualifications
  • Medical Assistant certification.
  • At least one year of medical office or clinical experience.
  • Dermatology experience.
