Experienced Dementia Caregiver
About the job
- At least 10 years of dementia care experience is required.
- Experience with specialized care, such as dementia or Parkinson’s, is required.
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living is required.
- Ability to provide mobility assistance, transfers, and physical support is required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
- Reliable transportation to drive the client in their vehicle is required; mileage reimbursement is included.
- A smartphone with internet access is required.
- Provide non-medical home care to elderly and disabled clients, including companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, and light meal preparation.
- Transport clients to medical appointments.
- Organize dementia-friendly tasks and activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and organization.
- Provide long-term care to the same client and build a consistent relationship.
- CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, or AED certifications are preferred but not required.
