Requirements
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Ability to prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Ability to inspect vehicles and maintain records of vehicle service, scheduling, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Ability to inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Ability to complete job paperwork and maintain files, including daily time, progress, and duration records.
  • Ability to determine parts needed for repairs and their required timing.
  • Ability to record parts, material, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to provide technical support to customers.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to travel regularly, including occasional overnight travel.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare for on-site installations and repairs, including examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness, and maintain vehicle service, scheduling, repair, and maintenance records.
  • Inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Document work, complete required paperwork and reports in a timely manner, and maintain job files.
  • Determine repair parts requirements and timing, record assignment costs, and return unused resources.
  • Keep current on products concerning their installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact and provide customers with technical support.
