Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Zero to two years of related technical experience in telecommunications, video/audio system installation, electrical or construction work, medical devices, or hospital biomedical work, or a comparable skill set, is required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site physical installation, functional testing, and quality inspection of surgical light suspensions, surgical booms, video integration systems, room cameras, video monitors, video signals, and other ancillary equipment.
  • Confirm site readiness and pre-installation infrastructure requirements, perform detailed product inventories, communicate issues to the internal project team, and follow up for resolution.
  • Install surgical light suspension systems, surgical booms, video integration systems, associated cabling, and ancillary equipment in accordance with quality, safety, state, industry, and international standards.
  • Program, test, and inspect video integration sources according to design specifications and perform functional and quality checks before project sign-off.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of equipment installations and related activities.
  • Complete daily update reports and administrative responsibilities, provide project updates to stakeholders, and coordinate with Quality to meet regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Complete training to ensure proper personal protective equipment is used and advocate safe work practices.
  • Coordinate and book personal travel, manage the daily schedule, and ensure timely arrival and completion of installation activities.
  • Maintain project stakeholder relationships, communicate progress updates, and provide basic operational training to customers as needed.
  • Manage and maintain assigned tools and equipment inventory.
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries and service requests and communicate project status and progress updates.
  • Build relationships with internal and external business partners and provide feedback to cross-functional partners to improve business processes.
  • Maintain accurate and current product, quality, and process standards through the company's Learning Management System.

  • A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree is preferred but not required.
