Requirements
  • A recognized nursing diploma and registration with the OIIQ (Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec) are required.
  • For the clinical nurse role, hold a first-cycle university degree through either a bachelor's degree in nursing science or a bachelor's degree consisting of three eligible certificates, including at least two recognized nursing certificates.
  • Have CPR training from a recognized Quebec instructor, with proof that the training was completed within the past two years.
  • Have training in the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale.
  • Have recent and relevant experience in both sectors.
  • Have a good knowledge of English because the population is predominantly anglophone.
  • Be proficient in French; English knowledge is an asset.
  • Be able to work under pressure and make rapid, effective decisions.
  • Be available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Rapidly assess patients' conditions and prioritize care according to the severity of their conditions.
  • Administer medical treatments and continuously monitor patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop appropriate care plans.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of care and interventions performed.
  • Participate in educating and supporting families of patients in critical situations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of English is an asset.
