Requirements
  • Knowledge of Operational Performance System (OPS), lean manufacturing, and Kaizen.
  • Experience conducting process audits.
  • Green Belt certification in lean concepts or a similar certification.
  • Experience planning and leading projects.
  • Three to five years of professional experience working in lean or continuous improvement at a high-volume manufacturing organization.
  • Three to five years of experience leading change management projects.
  • A bachelor-level degree or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of the English language.
  • Ability to visit all shifts and departments to ensure understanding and adherence to OPS standards.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee internal projects and improvement activities.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to process facilitators throughout implementation.
  • Promote and sustain lean and Kaizen methodologies through employee training, coaching, and awareness initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits with audit teams and process owners to evaluate the effectiveness and sustainability of implemented standards.
  • Identify performance gaps and drive corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate OPS activities companywide.
  • Initiate OPS workshops and training sessions.
  • Plan and carry out OPS workshops and training sessions.
  • Support OPS process facilitators and departments working all shifts.
  • Organize OPS communications.
  • Conduct internal OPS marketing using sources such as continuous improvement videos.
  • Ensure compliance with the OPS roadmap.
  • Develop and adhere to OPS standards.
  • Plan and carry out OPS audits.
  • Discuss and report on OPS activities monthly.
