Requirements
  • 8+ years of Accounting experience, preferably in a high growth SaaS company
  • 3+ years as a people manager leading a high performing accounting team
  • Experience with supervising the Accounts Payable function
  • Big 4 experience strongly preferred
  • CPA required
  • Knowledge of NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Clearwater, FloQast, and banking operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Successful in building cross-departmental relationships
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting
Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor the Accounting & Accounts Payable teams
  • Overall ownership of the month-end and quarterly close process
  • Manage preparation and review of all financial statements
  • Lead international accounting efforts
  • Manage relationship with key Accounting vendors and service providers
  • Work with Accounts Payable Manager to ensure accuracy & coding of invoices
  • Prepare monthly reporting package for review with upper management
  • Lead annual and statutory audits with external auditors
  • Develop and document formal policies and procedures in compliance with SEC and public company reporting standards
  • Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Revenue Accounting, Business Systems, Payroll, Engineering, IT, Sales, and other functions
  • Clearly define expectations to the team and to management to create and maintain a highly functional team
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting department
