As a QA Analyst you would be involved in developing music technology for recording studios, live sound, and guitarists ensuring the reliability and performance of cutting-edge audio products. You would design and execute test plans, identify bugs, and collaborate with engineers to refine software and hardware for seamless studio recording, live performances, and guitar effects.

We are searching for a Quality Assurance Analyst I based Baton Rouge. In this position, you will be part of the product development process, testing our hardware and software products. You will track hardware and software bugs, while verifying fixes as implemented, from project start to release.
Essential Functions:
- Execute holistic testing efforts for multiple projects and software releases, including integration, system, regression, performance, and user-acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with other test leads on large projects and work independently on smaller ones.
- Assist the QA Manager in creating test schedules and resource planning.
- Identify potential problems and proactively develop solutions.
- Provide analysis to support go/no-go recommendations for production releases.
- Verify and validate error reports from Technical Support.
- Interface with Beta testers to gather and reproduce reported issues.
- Author and update Knowledge Base articles as required.
- Maintain and monitor Top Issue Logs.
- Participate in bug reviews to ensure thorough issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Field or studio recording experience or a related technical discipline.
- Programming or scripting skills (e.g., C, Lua, Ruby, Java)
- Understanding of audio recording, live sound, mixing, analog and digital consoles, routing and recording, DAW systems, sequencers, plug-ins, MIDI specifications, keyboard MIDI technology, and guitar effects processors.
- Familiarity with at least three or advanced knowledge of one MI application (e.g., Studio One, Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Cubase).
- Experience installing and configuring Mac, PC, Linux, iOS, and Android systems and applications.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and audio-over-Ethernet standards.
- Self-motivated, organized, punctual, reliable, and adaptable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence platforms for issue tracking and collaboration
