Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Video Department Intern to join our team. The Video Department Intern will be responsible for supporting the production of high-quality videos for our organization. The intern will work closely with the Video Production Manager to develop and execute video projects that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a creative individual who is passionate about video production and eager to gain experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with pre-production planning, including brainstorming, script development, storyboarding, and location scouting.
Help set up and operate video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
Support the filming and recording of video content, including interviews, b-roll footage, and other elements as needed.
Assist with post-production tasks, including video editing, color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
Help manage video files and assets, including organizing footage, creating backups, and archiving completed projects.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and feedback for ongoing video projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a film, video production, or related program.
Demonstrated interest and experience in video production.
Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Availability to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week
Compensation:
- This is a part-time, non-exempt position. Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $15 per hour or more depending on experience
