About the company

Steyn Group is the private markets investment arm of the Steyn family office. It manages capital and runs investments and operating subsidiaries in the UK, US, and South Africa across real estate, private equity, and venture capital. It uses a mix of direct investments and operating subsidiaries to participate in private market opportunities rather than public markets. Its products/functions include allocating and deploying capital into real estate projects, private equity deals, and early-stage businesses through venture investments, with some subsidiaries actively operating in portfolio companies. The company differentiates itself through its family-office backed, multi-jurisdictional platform that combines capital allocation with hands-on operational involvement in its portfolio. Its goal is to grow wealth by building and managing a diversified portfolio of private market investments across geographies and sectors, delivering returns for the Steyn family office.
