Requirements

Must achieve 50% competency in less than 3 months, 70% competency within 6 months, and 90% competency within 24 months.
Must have computer knowledge, primarily SAP and Microsoft Office.
Must have knowledge of raw material specifications, product specifications, and customer requirements.
Should have 1–3 years of actual experience aiding operation of a thermoplastic sheet extrusion line, or similar experience.
Requires an industrial vehicle license, data entry and processing skills, and general math skills.
Must be available to work the overnight rotating schedule, including every other weekend, and be available for weekends and holidays.
Must be regularly available to work Monday through Friday during assigned hours and other hours necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of frequent activity and lifting up to 50 pounds in a work environment with hazardous materials, loud noise, and extreme heat or cold.
Responsibilities
Operate the assigned sheet extrusion line area and related process equipment and material handling safely and to high-quality standards, following system instructions and coordinating assigned line-area activities.
Support operation of the sheet extrusion line and associated process equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures, standard operating conditions, and system instructions; serve as backup operator as assigned and necessary.
Complete training to become a Certified Sheet Extrusion Operator within 24 months.
Assist with packaged product quality for scheduled product according to manufacturing specifications, control plans, and enterprise resource planning system instructions by inspecting product and process quality, including dimensional properties, saw-cutting quality, packaging, and overall product appearance.
Enter operational data into SAP for accurate accounting of materials and timely SAP transactions and process orders.
Participate in overall equipment effectiveness improvement teams and activities to improve product quality, costs, data accuracy, on-time delivery, and new product innovation.
Enter work orders for repairs and make logbook entries to document activities.
Maintain 5S, safety, environmental, health and safety, and total productive maintenance standards in the area.
Maintain proficiency and licensing for industrial vehicles, including specialty vehicles.
Remain current with all training profile requirements.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Area Manager or Team Leader.

SUMMARY: Responsible for safe and high-quality operation of the assigned sheet extrusion line area and related process equipment and material handling. Responsible for following system instructions and coordinate assigned line area activities.
WORK SCHEDULE: Work an overnight (6:45pm to 6:45am) rotating schedule, including every other weekend. Our facility operates 24/7, so weekend and holiday availability is required.
STARTING HOURLY RATES:$1,000 sign on bonus
$24.68, plus $2.96 shift differential (12%) Up to $32.80/hour for a Level 7 operator
KEY DUTIES:
Supports the operation of the Sheet Extrusion line and associated process equipment in accordance with SOPs, SOCs, and system instructions. Back-up Operator as assigned and necessary.
Complete training to become a Certified Sheet Extrusion Operator within 24 months.
Assists in the packaged product quality of schedule product, according to Manufacturing Specifications, Control Plans and ERP system instructions through product and process quality inspection for all activities, specifically the dimensional properties, saw cutting quality, packaging and overall product appearance.
Enter operational data into SAP as needed fora accurate accounting of all materials and timely SAP transactions and Process Orders.
Active participation in OEE improvement teams and activities to improve product quality, costs, accuracy of data, on-time delivery and new product innovations.
Enter Work Orders for repairs. Enter logbook entries for documentation of activities.
Maintain 5S, safety, ESP and TPM standards in area.
Maintain proficiency and licensing for industrial vehicles, including specialty vehicles.
Be current in all training profile requirements.
Other tasks as assigned by Area Manager or Team Leader.
EXPERIENCE:
