A bachelor's degree in construction management or an engineering-related field, or at least 3 years of experience in a construction-related support role.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project or P6 for scheduling, Bluebeam, Procore or Sage for construction management, and PowerPoint or Prezi for presenting.
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
Support project teams in preconstruction efforts, project start-up, documentation, contract administration for subcontracts, purchase orders, and owner contracts, site orientations, schedule management, reporting, material procurement, field supervision, and project closeout.
Create and use tracking logs for safety, procurement, submittals, requests for information (RFIs), productivity tracking, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), and change management.
Participate in project meetings, create agendas, take meeting minutes, and facilitate project walkthroughs.
Review submittals and shop drawings for accuracy and expedite them for timely review.
Initiate, prepare, review, track, and distribute RFIs.
Assist the Superintendent with non-conformance issues, special inspections, safety, compliance, and permit and certificate of occupancy processes.
Track and review certified payroll reports.
Manage drawings and specifications and keep revisions current.
Assist in preparing bid packages and requests for proposals (RFPs).
Track and inspect project deliveries.

The Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to construction staff. This role will review bidding and design documents, while overseeing and evaluating the construction process. They assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from start to finish.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
