- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field is required.
- At least 4 years of experience is required.
- Experience in manual and automated testing, including Playwright, is required.
- Strong analytical, design, and coding skills using programming languages such as Java are required.
- Experience with databases and SQL is required.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Rest Assured, Postman, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit is required.
- Understanding of source code management tools such as Git is required.
- Knowledge of testing concepts including regression testing, functional testing, and API testing is required.
- Expertise in the software development life cycle, software testing life cycle, and Agile or Waterfall methodologies is required.
- Ability to write, design, enhance, debug, and execute automated tests is required.
- Ability to prepare software automation tracking and report project release status to stakeholders is required.
- Ability to estimate testing work and coordinate work activities with team members is required.
- Ability to interact with client stakeholders, investigate technical problems, and clarify requirement specifications is required.
- Ability to work the night shift is required.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Create, implement, and execute manual and automated tests.
- Design and execute complex test cases for frontend and/or backend components based on product management and engineering requirements.
- Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and architects as a quality engineer embedded in the Agile Scrum team.
- Develop acceptance test cases and tests.
- Collate and monitor the defect management process.
- Meet with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.
- Develop automation frameworks from scratch or create framework procedures.
- Prepare software automation tracking and report project release status to stakeholders.
- Good project management skills are desired for candidates at mid-level and above.
- Ability to sketch ideas for automated software test procedures is desired.
