We are seeking a highly driven and adaptable Chief of Staff to work alongside our CEO as a trusted partner. In this role, you will ensure strategic initiatives are executed efficiently, operational gaps are addressed, and the CEO’s time is optimized for the highest priorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Run the company’s operating cadence, including all-hands meetings, annual planning, and company off-sites, while identifying and resolving operational inefficiencies.
- Surface important company decisions and help structure and drive alignment within the leadership team.
- Monitor team dynamics, raising potential issues and opportunities for improvement to the CEO and leadership team.
- Collaborate with the CEO to maximize her effectiveness by shaping priorities, anticipating needs, and guiding strategic decisions.
- Oversee the CEO’s time management and work with her EA to ensure her calendar is optimized and focused on high-leverage activities.
- Own investor relations, preparing board materials, pitch decks, and ensuring strategic communications are compelling and polished.
- Define, lead, and execute high-priority, cross-functional projects with board-level impact on a quarterly basis.

Skills & Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking or high-growth startups.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and interpret data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and implement processes that improve operational efficiency.
What Success Looks Like in 90 Days
- Develop a clear understanding of Archive’s operations, culture, and strategy, identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
- Take ownership of meeting cadences, ensuring agendas, takeaways, and follow-ups are optimized.
- Support in structuring key decisions and analyzing potential scenarios.
- Improve internal processes, including team documentation and resources, to enhance company-wide alignment.
- Optimize the CEO’s time, enabling her to focus on high-impact priorities.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to maintain alignment on Archive’s strategic direction.
- Begin executing special projects with measurable, board-level impact.
Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible for equity as well, and all employees are eligible for a full benefits package including employee and dependent healthcare and 401(k) enrollment. Our team of over 50 employees is currently remote-first, with an office in NYC and optional in-person work for those located in the area. We have company offsites twice a year to bring the full team together in person, and occasional travel is expected as part of the job.
