- Develop and manage the sales budget and annual operating budget for assigned product lines.
- Support sales team members in fulfilling individual targets by helping close orders, answering technical and application questions, and guiding new opportunities.
- Formulate and ensure execution of the sales plan for assigned product lines.
- Ensure sales team members are properly trained and that their skills are continually upgraded.
- Devise systems to monitor product-line performance, especially gross margin levels and the sales pipeline.
- Develop marketing strategies in coordination with the marketing department and ensure their execution.
- Provide feedback to modify company offerings based on market-trend analysis and potential increases in order intake.
- Initiate, manage, and conclude national purchasing agreements with major accounts.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis using marketing reports, research, publications, conferences, and other relevant sources.
- Conduct seminars, customer meetings, and workshops to improve customer support.
- Supervise the submission and preparation of quotations and tender bids from commercial and technical perspectives.
- Ensure customer satisfaction for customers using instruments from the assigned product lines.
- Lead the sales team and ensure compliance with AP Sales Standards described in the CRM Sales Wiki.
