Responsibilities
  • Champion the SCA Health Reliability Organization journey and ensure leaders, teams, and physicians achieve clinical excellence and drive zero harm through adoption and standardization of clinical quality standards.
  • Own the P&L for two facilities, either as separate partnerships or under one umbrella, and retain oversight as CEO for at least one facility; oversee all financial and operational controls.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing facility team of clinical and operational professionals focused on clinical quality outcomes, volume growth drivers, labor efficiencies, and operational excellence.
  • Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams of facility teammates, including clinical and operational professionals; model and promote SCA's values, support teammate growth, and promote operational excellence.
  • Depending on the market or partnership, add or expand a facility through a merger, de novo development, relocation, or expansion.
  • Own the facility's overall patient experience, including patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, and successful execution of harm-prevention initiatives.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for two facilities to ensure strong facility leadership, clinical excellence and patient care, operational and financial performance, and teammate and physician relationships and engagement.
  • Work cross-functionally with clinical, finance, revenue cycle, supply chain, diversity and inclusion, legal, compliance, human resources, and other support services to align and collaborate on shared goals.
  • Partner with the business development team and SSL team to recruit new physicians and physician groups and grow share of practice.
  • Model SCA's values, recognize and reward teammates who live the mission, and enhance a culture of inclusion.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Experience in ambulatory surgery centers, outpatient care, surgical sites, and multi-site healthcare settings is preferred.
