Discount Tire was founded in 1960 by Bruce T. Halle in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with a single store, an inventory of only six tires, and a promise to treat people right. Developers for both projects are scheduled to make their pitches for conditional use approvals and preliminary land development plans on March 30 to the township planning advisory commission. 7 Brew, founded in 2017 in Rogers, Arkansas, and named after its original menu of seven coffee drinks, is looking to build a shop at the site of the former Pizza Roma Family Restaurant on Route 19, said Ron Henshaw, township planning and development services director. Plans include a small, 1,770 square foot shop with two stacking lanes that can accommodate almost 50 vehicles and a third bypass lane, Henshaw said. 7 Brew is a drive-through only business that does not have sit-down service, he added.
