Niantic creates augmented reality (AR) experiences that combine the digital and real worlds, encouraging users to explore and interact with their environment. Their popular AR games, such as Pokémon GO and Ingress, engage millions of players globally, promoting outdoor activity and social connections. Niantic's products work by using mobile devices to overlay digital content onto real-world locations, allowing players to participate in interactive challenges and events. Unlike many competitors, Niantic focuses on fostering community engagement and physical exploration through their games. The company's goal is to enhance real-world experiences through technology, making gaming a more active and social endeavor.
