About the job
- Completed secondary school.
- At least 2 years of experience in the position or general maintenance, preferably in hotels or construction.
- Knowledge of preventive air-conditioning maintenance.
- General knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical work, and finishes such as painting and patching.
- Basic knowledge of safety and hygiene standards and ability to use manual and electric tools.
- Availability for rotating shifts and work on weekends or holidays.
- Inspect guest rooms in detail to ensure lighting, furniture, locks, and other elements function properly before guest arrival.
- Clean filters, inspect thermostats, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air-conditioning units, including evaporators and condensers.
- Repair leaks, unclog drains, maintain flush valves and showers, and maintain hot- and cold-water systems.
- Replace light fixtures, repair outlets and switches, and perform basic diagnosis of electrical faults in guest rooms.
- Support maintenance in public areas, corridors, or food and beverage outlets as operationally needed, including painting, patching, and minor adjustments.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests through the ASGARD system, complete the work correctly, and close the requests.
- Coordinate work scheduling and efficient use of materials with the supervisor and maintenance assistant.
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols when using machinery and chemical products.
- Maintain room finish and repair quality, correctly close ASGARD reports, support guest satisfaction through service quality and resolution time, and meet preventive maintenance requirements.
