Requirements
- A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning service experience is required.
- Environmental Protection Agency 608 certification is required.
- Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on residential and light commercial air conditioning systems are required.
- Proficiency with iPads or tablets, service software, and digital gauges is required.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset are required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, work in attics and crawl spaces, and tolerate extreme temperatures is required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of residential and light commercial air conditioning systems.
- Perform seasonal maintenance and system inspections.
- Lead advanced troubleshooting for electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and mechanical issues.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, code requirements, and safety standards.
- Educate homeowners and business owners about system performance, improvements, and options.
- Provide clear repair-versus-replace recommendations.
- Communicate with dispatch and the team about job status, parts needs, and follow-ups.
Desired Qualifications
- Universal Environmental Protection Agency 608 certification is preferred.
- Obtain North American Technician Excellence certification within 6 months is preferred.
- Ongoing paid training and certifications are offered.
