UI/UX Designer
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Design or a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or technology.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing.
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing teams.
- Experience designing for fintech, cryptocurrency, or blockchain platforms, with an understanding of complex financial workflows, is preferred.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles is preferred.
- Ability to create and maintain design systems across multiple products is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization and designing interfaces for financial dashboards is preferred.
- Motion design or micro-interaction expertise is preferred.
- Understanding of security and compliance considerations in financial services user experience is preferred.
- Conduct user research and usability testing, and analyze feedback to identify pain points and opportunities.
- Benchmark design patterns and user experiences against industry standards and competitors.
- Provide insights to guide design decisions and improve user satisfaction.
- Define and maintain design systems, style guides, and user-interface components for consistency.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure design feasibility and alignment with technical requirements.
- Design intuitive navigation flows and interactive elements that enhance usability.
- Apply best practices in typography, color theory, and layout to create visually appealing interfaces.
- Ensure accessibility compliance and responsive design across devices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver designs on time and within scope.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
- Support development teams during implementation to maintain design integrity.
- Stay updated on user-interface/user-experience trends, tools, and emerging technologies.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior designers.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback and performance metrics.
