About the company

GCI Residential develops and manages rental apartment communities for residents in Ohio, Michigan, the Carolinas, Tennessee and Florida. Its communities include the Legacy apartment brand, with homes ranging from studios to larger apartments and amenities tailored to each property. Residents search available homes, apply online and use a resident portal, while the business collects rent through the properties it owns and manages. It operates within GCI alongside development and construction teams that plan, build and retain real estate for long-term ownership. The wider GCI organization was founded in 1952 and is headquartered in Beachwood, Ohio.
