Requirements
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Public Relations, Communications, English, or Journalism is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of internal or employee communications experience in a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience owning intranet strategy and content development.
  • Proven hands-on experience developing and executing employee communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Previous experience managing communications for large-scale change management projects.
  • Previous experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with last-minute changes in plans and direction is required.
  • Superior interpersonal, relationship-building, negotiating, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to align and integrate employee communications strategies and tactics with the strategic marketing plan, public relations, social activity, corporate thought leadership, business strategy, and brand vision.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in both traditional and digital formats, with a high attention to accuracy and detail required.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Director, Corporate Communications, to plan and execute strategic employee communications programs designed to support global business strategies and goals.
  • Support the execution of employee engagement, change management, and other employee communications deliverables.
  • Develop and execute internal and external communications programs to engage employees and enhance understanding of CSA Group’s global business strategy and initiatives.
  • Act as Editorial Lead for CSA Group’s intranet by developing and delivering the editorial calendar and content.
  • Leverage a variety of channels and tactics to engage employees, including events, written communications, digital communications, and videos.
  • Own the execution of key employee communications deliverables, such as town halls, emails, and newsletters.
  • Support change management communications around key corporate initiatives.
  • Build and manage an editorial calendar to plan the timing of employee communications in alignment with key activities from various functions across CSA Group.
  • Monitor and measure the success of employee communications campaigns and materials, and provide feedback and recommendations to enhance organizational messaging and employee engagement programs.
  • Write and edit employee communications to ensure they are accurate, support strategic corporate messaging, and communicate the CSA Group story internally.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal communications queries within the organization.
  • Produce and develop materials for issues and crisis communications in a dynamic environment.
  • Participate in the development of sensitive and timely communications materials.
  • Ensure projects are communicated to and coordinated with employee teams as required.
  • Develop financial estimates for projects and monitor overall project expenditures following budget approval.
  • Measure and analyze project results.
  • Anticipate project resource needs for management consideration.

CSA opens lab to test medical-grade PPE

TORONTO – CSA Group has announced the opening of an accredited, special-purpose laboratory dedicated to testing and certifying the safety of medical-grade PPE. Until now, there have been no domestic providers of testing and certification services for medical-grade PPE.
