  • A bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, are required.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and experience with protocol planning, implementation, coordination, evaluation, and reporting of clinical trials are required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day laboratory operations.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines and milestone tracking systems.
  • Monitor progress across multiple research studies simultaneously.
  • Maintain laboratory documentation and project records.
  • Track deliverables across grants, manuscripts, and research projects.
  • Assist with onboarding and coordination of students, interns, volunteers, and research staff.
  • Coordinate activities involving community organizations, healthcare systems, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a laboratory-wide grant submission calendar.
  • Coordinate preparation and assembly of grant applications.
  • Track funding opportunities relevant to the laboratory.
  • Obtain letters of support and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate grant-related communication with institutional offices.
  • Assist with progress reports and annual reports.
  • Maintain records of grant budgets and expenditures.
  • Coordinate manuscript submissions and revisions.
  • Track publication pipelines and journal correspondence.
  • Manage author information and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain laboratory publication records and reporting metrics.
  • Coordinate institutional review board submissions, amendments, renewals, and continuing reviews.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation for all active studies.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, federal, and sponsor requirements.
  • Track required study approvals and deadlines.
  • Assist with organizing laboratory seminars, workshops, and conferences.
  • Coordinate visiting scholars and guest speakers.
  • Support dissemination activities and public engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor project expenditures and budgets.
  • Coordinate equipment purchases and laboratory procurement.
  • Track invoices, reimbursements, and purchase requests.
  • Assist with budget projections and spending reports.
  • Coordinate vendor communications and service agreements.
  • Supervise student workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree is preferred.
  • Clinical trials project management experience is preferred.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software is preferred.
  • Certified Clinical Research Professional certification upon hire is preferred.
  • Certified Project Management Professional certification from PMI upon hire is preferred.
