Responsibilities
Perform mechanical engineering work involving HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing design, field observation, and survey activities.
Produce documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit, including building information modeling deliverables.
Work on utility distribution projects.
Witness field installations of mechanical systems and work alongside senior engineering staff.
Take on increasing responsibilities through training.
Desired Qualifications
High school-level or entry-level knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.

RMF is currently seeking an engineering undergraduate for a full-time intern/co-op position in their Columbus, OH office. Duration and start/ finish windows based on the candidate’s academic calendar and availability.
Mechanical (HVAC, Fire Protection and Plumbing) engineering responsibilities will include design, field observation, and survey activities as well as document production in AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM, building information modeling). Heavy emphasis placed on utility distribution. Interns will have the opportunity to witness field installations of the systems and to work alongside senior engineering staff. Responsibilities will continually increase with training and follow-on internships are highly encouraged based on performance and attitude.
Majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
