About the job
- A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and at least 2 years of clinical experience are required.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Strong communication and organisational skills are required.
- An interest in emergency and critical care and a proactive, positive attitude are required.
- Triage and admit emergency patients.
- Provide direct care for critically ill patients.
- Perform diagnostics, treatments, and anaesthesia.
- Monitor and record patient care accurately.
- Liaise with staff and clients.
- Work autonomously to support specialist veterinarians in providing patient care.
- Experience in emergency or specialist hospitals is a bonus but is not essential.
