Requirements
  • A Master of Science in Nursing is required at the time of application.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.
  • Final candidates must complete an employment education check, including academic credential verification.
  • Finalists must complete a criminal conviction investigation.
  • Instructors teaching clinical courses must complete a caregiver background check.
  • Candidates must provide three references during the interview process, including at least one from a manager or supervisor.
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate strong oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills, integrity, leadership, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
  • Provide short-term instructional services in the Department of Nursing when vacancies become available.
  • Teach nursing courses, including clinical instruction when applicable.
  • Work inclusively and respectfully within a diverse campus community and practice civility in the workplace.
  • Promote inclusivity, equity, diversity, environmental sustainability, engaged citizenship, and service to students and the community.
Desired Qualifications
  • A doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Recent clinical or nursing education experience is preferred.
  • Online teaching experience is preferred.
