Requirements
- Submit an updated resume.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Have access to reliable transportation.
- Provide documentation of updated vaccinations, including TB, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B or declination, Tdap, seasonal influenza, and COVID-19, as applicable to location, regulations, and business policies.
- Successfully complete a drug test and background check and security screen.
- Sign a commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate consecutive interpretation services in person between English and American Sign Language in medical, social services, customer service, and financial settings.
- Provide on-site consecutive interpretation.
- Follow Kreato Global policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and standards.
- Establish and maintain quality service and positive interaction with patients, customers, visitors, healthcare providers, and clinical employees.
- Continuously improve vocabulary and specialized subject-matter knowledge.
Desired Qualifications
- Have at least 1 year of interpreting experience.
- Know Kreato Global’s evaluation process conforming to interpreting standards defined by NCIHC, IMIA, and CHIA.
